Recycling - Age and Beauty
Everyone talks about a 88 years old actress recently. After a long pause for a sitcom 1980's, this celebrated actress suddenly reappeared in the media, appearing on television, presented the award shows and starring in films summer. When I thought of them suddenly pop culture, I began to think about money (sorry, wonderful actress 88 years) and how we as a society sometimes rejecting things just because they are old.
Thoughnor relevant to the appeal of something new is often misleading to us for the things that makes us forget we leave behind. Good grief, when I wrote that I heard the metaphor, but it was not intentional, I'm going in! Instead of mixing metaphors, I decided to turn around my house and take pictures of some things that I mentioned earlier, you must be a practical (or fill decorative).
Do not misunderstand, this is not a conference about recycling or saving the planet, a moreI remember that often the objects that we sit in our homes already need. With unexpected things for ordinary reasons, will always add personality to a home. Before you buy your home to check to see if you already know what you're looking for. Maybe not exactly what he wanted, but that does not mean you can not do (eg jewels set in the best porcelain bowl or hang a picture with colored thumbtacks).
Things are a bit 'like people just because they are old andis worn, does not mean there should be discarded. With age comes a certain warmth and character, which often escapes the new brand. From a life well lived, one can learn the history, and how something was in the beginning. The damage is exposed to a value because of the imperfections that come from this experience.
Do not pretend that we never throw anything away, only that we stop thinking about what we have. Appreciate something, what it is, then judge whethermay still be useful to you - at home (or in your life).
I can not add images in this article, but I can tell you some of the things I say in my house photographed. As you can see, the list is endless ....
A plant in a frame hanging on a blank image.
A sentimental, chipped Cup for pens.
The old wooden houses, as a relief decoration of the door.
Tie Rack store (I think a lot) necklaces.
Box Wine magazine.
Metal table from outside, and polyurethanedused as my coffee table.
Children's shoes organized (?) In a box of fruit.
empty mayonnaise jar full of pencils.
Shells, broken flower pots and a miniature terrarium glass embedded in a sphere.
Fine China Soup Owl on a picnic table outside, filled water for birds.
Small aquarium cracked Turtle has received and documents.
Wicker basket, black painted hides the speakers on my computer.
