Living within your means
Living within your means LIVING FRUGALLY: Tips on Saving Money and Living within Your Means
Why are we in a recession, economic crisis, or "term of your choice? Well, many reasons, but most of it managing the debt in some form. And the No. 1 reason is behind it, in the case of individuals or our government that most of us have experienced more than we could afford, so for a very long time and I did! How much better would be if we lived as many of our relatives of the yesteryears, lived below their means and save a bit 'of money for a "rainy day" oremergencies (eg the unexpected in whatever form it appears).
What happened in the last 2-3 decades, which has brought us here?
In the 50's and 60 credit cards more and more the norm and is steadily increasing in popularity. Since 80 people have used the purchase if they fit on their credit cards (either "allow" or not). They paid the interest to have everything "now." The problem is that most of the time it was borrowed by the future earningsexpected. How life "success" and the unexpected Took place ie: car repairs, loss of earnings on the job or unexpected expenses, in any form, besides the fact that many people jumped all the work that is suitable, or for any more in according to the report were not earned as much as they were spending. In many cases the gap between revenue and costs only continue to grow until the problem was a ravine. Many years of buying cars, houses and lots of "stuff" for credit loans and creditCards have caught up with us. The U.S. government has a ridiculous amount of debt compared to 80. I recently heard that a large part of the U.S. debt was taken over (bought / invested) from organizations and foreign countries, including a very large extent in the Middle East! This is worrying for me!
Today, there are tons of messages about bike went to work, less expense, and to live differently. I believe that as difficult as the economy was due to many of us,before the impact of layoffs by companies downsizing or closure or property because of the mortgages made before or excessive price up and away from everything, from gas to food have lost, many have had to make some major changes. We as a nation, talking, walking, and spending in a different way, in most cases. For many years, many of us have lived week to week. If the economy goes haywire, that all that desolate lives are too tight to begin with, or worseimmersed in debt.
Personally I think if you allow it, this may be a wake-up call for us as individuals and our leaders. Often people change only when they have no other choice, or their concerns are greater than its "live now" mentality. The statistics confirm that many of us now spend as lightness. And I think credit cards, it is usually necessary for survival (for saving missing) instead of "substance". Far fewer people arePurchase new vehicles or property in those days. When I see and hear all sales of cars and houses and other large purchases, it reminds me that today is a gift of gigantic proportions of debt. Today is the day of change, forward thinking, for wisdom. I really hope we all learn from these crucial moments that have surrounded us in the last months of 2007 will be depth and seriousness and 2009 to date. It is difficult ... absolutely! But I think we all can and must learnvaluable lessons and long-term benefits of living in and among our agents.
That said those who thought a bit 'out of the paths of society in their thinking and / or possibly rice for their frugality and voluntary simplicity (the easy selection of the most important people on the network) can now get some respect for these decisions (if not a bit of envy)! I also believe that those of us knows how to live well in a simple way to know, for example, such as storage and cookingand even the simple life in a small mobile home (hopefully for a fee), often at the forefront of their / our ability to live well in difficult economic times. Suddenly I know how to live well in a small camper or truck is not so strange and ridiculous, the masses seem more social. I am personally very grateful to be (still learning) and to prepare to live or live in the van easiest way is necessary, but with the amenities that are important to me personally. Ithink, be it a gift to this mentality. I'm teaching, from the United States some years ago in a small pick-up camper then traveled authorized learned on my Dodge Dakota mid-size trucks. I am happy to have a motor home and know how to live more simply, if necessary.
I'm certainly a gadget girl, and I love my laptop and techy gadget, and I also, however, I would have a difficult time without my laptop for a long time to admit, I can cook on the fire, fortunately, the time reading aBook know very little about using an inverter and a source of emergency power from me, if necessary, and if I had, I could with a single port potty without a nervous breakdown over. Those of you who are free thinkers and always enjoyed the freedom of alternative ideas of life that I think are best for them at this time. For those of you who have shuddered at the thought of living without your cup of coffee $ 7, or travel without a stay in a $ 100 perNight at the hotel, could be some updating and upgrading the road. But that's ok, you're bright and you can learn to do things cheaper and easier, if necessary, right?
Yes, America is changing ... Then again, perhaps the most difficult times to go away soon, and once again it all comes back to the deafness of spending and going deeper into debt without thinking too much. I hope things getter better soon, but hopefully it will not go back to our lives outsideour resources and all that brought us here. I suspect that, unfortunately, a creature of habit, if the immediate pain, has not dropped much, most will go right back to their old way of life far beyond their means. But you or I? No. .. I do not have the choice of months and fortunately they are now debt free. I can not have a home you like, or a new car, but I have a fee for the 1997 GMC Safari van, and then click OK and I am very grateful, not a lot of debt hanging over me.
L 'The economy is rough in other countries but here in America we ready for this for some time. It is a rude awakening for most of us. Whether it's running a service to our individual households or businesses, things are tough these days for many of not most of us! But we can learn and live, and ultimately better for the lessons.
Living within your means = good choice! ~ Living below your means = smart choice!
